The wooden rail with a modern look
Our wooden rails are made of Ayous wood and FSC-certified. Ayous wood distinguishes itself from other wood in that it does not deform or splinter, and is perfect to paint over because of the smooth texture of the wood. The STAS riva is available in natural, white and white primer, so that you can paint over the rail even more easily in your desired colour. This way the rail always fits in your interior and it is the perfect wood for your hanging system! The rail can be mounted by screwing, nailing as well as gluing*.

* The load capacity of a glued rail is highly dependent on the surface, so caution is advised here.
5-Step Plan for gluing the STAS riva
Step 1: Assess the surface
Important when gluing the STAS wooden rails is that the surface is firmly fixed and solid. Particularly for wallpaper, it applies here that it must be applied nice and tight and even so that the wooden rails adhere as well as possible.
Step 2: Choose the right glue
We recommend the following brands of glue:
o Den Braven High Tack
o Soudal Fix ALL High Tack
o Bostik High Tack Fast
These brands offer very good adhesion on most building materials such as PVC, metal, polyurethane, steel, aluminium, stone, glass, cement-bound materials and wood of course.
Step 3: Pre-treatment
Make sure that the surface and the STAS wooden rails are clean, dry, dust-free and grease-free before you start gluing.
Step 4: Gluing
The glue is best applied (also without primer) in beads onto the STAS wooden rails (so do not cover the entire surface with glue!). Once the glue has been applied, the wooden rail can be placed on the surface (tip: use a spirit level!). At this point the STAS wooden rails can still be slid into the correct position. When the STAS wooden rails are hanging completely level, firm pressure can be applied so that the rail adheres well to the surface. Then leave the glue to dry for 24 hours.
Step 5: Hang up your wall decoration
Hang up your favourite wall decoration using the STAS hooks and cords and admire the result!
